EXHIBITIONS

A selection on Exhibitions I have been a part of, and other shops and events.

Paper Pirates - New York
June 14, 2015

This was a crazy cool exhibition in New York City, USA.

Paper Pirates exhibit artists work in A3 form for one night only. People come along and check out the photos, drink free booze and have a looksie. At the end of the night (usually when the booze runs out), everyone steals the photographs off the wall to keep, for free, forever.

Check out a bit more of the story on the Facebook Event page here. Learn more about Paper Pirates here.

Eye of Christchurch - Christchurch
March, 2015

This was for a competition, and the brief was to capture our City, Christchurch in Transition after the Earthquakes and during the rebuild. I decided to theme my works by capturing reflections throughout the city of old buildings, that were reflected in the glass of the new buildings, as well as the work in progress, and the graffiti that has brightened up the city in transition.

Pop Up Shop - Christchurch
April & May, 2015

As part of the transitional city of Christchurch, following the earthquakes, there was opportunity for locals to make something of unused spaces via Life in Vacant Spaces

I was lucky enough to be able to use one of these spaces as a Pop Up Shop for a couple of months over April and May of 2015, which was a great experience I will never forget.

Where the Wild Things Grow - Wellington
May 14 - June 18, 2015

Held by the Alpha Gallery & Studio, Where the Wild Things Grow was a photography exhibition that reflected on natures remarkable abundance and diversity in the wild, in a garden, or within a manmade enviroment. Find out more about Alpha Gallery here.

Dirty Laundry - Christchurch
February 5, 2015

In true style and form of the Christchurch Earthquakes, a one night only     Pop Up Exhibition, hosted by First Thursdays in Christchurch.

This exhibition didn't so much celebrate the real theme of dirty laundry,

but a play on the subject; with our artworks being strung across clothes lines and held on with that which would be clothing pegs.
